Frosty Pina Colada Pops

  1. Drain pineapple, reserving the juice.
  2. Meanwhile, stir boiling water into dry gelatin mix in large bowl at least 2 min.
  3. until completely dissolved.
  4. Stir in rum.
  5. Add enough ice cubes to reserved pineapple juice to measure 3/4 cup; stir until slightly thickened.
  6. Remove any unmelted ice.
  7. Refrigerate 15 min.
  8. or until slightly thickened.
  9. Stir in pineapple.
  10. Pour evenly into six 5-oz.
  11. paper or plastic cups.
  12. Freeze 1 hour.
  13. Insert wooden pop stick into center of each cup.
  14. Freeze an additional 3 hours or until pops are firm.
  15. Remove from freezer about 5 min.
  16. before serving; let stand at room temperature to soften slightly.
  17. Peel off paper cups just before serving.
  18. Store leftovers in freezer.
