Mostaccioli Pasta with Blue Cheese and Bacon
- 1 cup Uncooked Mostaccioli Pasta (Or Penne Pasta)
- 2 Tablespoons Butter
- 1 Tablespoon Real Bacon Bits (Or Crumbled Cooked Bacon)
- 1/4 teaspoons Garlic Powder (Heaping)
- 5 dashes Salt (or Salt To Taste)
- 1/4 teaspoons Ground Black Pepper
- 1 Tablespoon Olive Oil
- 1/4 cups Crumbled Blue Cheese Plus Extra For Garnish
- 2 teaspoons Chopped Fresh Italian Parsley
- 1/4 cups Chopped Green Onion For Garnish
- Cook the pasta according to package instructions for al dente.
- Drain the pasta.
- Once all of the water is drained, put the pasta back into the pan.
- Add the butter, bacon, garlic powder, salt, pepper and olive oil.
- Heat the pan on low heat just long enough to melt the butter (about 4 minutes).
- Stir it as the butter is melting.
- Remove from heat and while the pasta is warm add the blue cheese and the parsley.
- Put it into a pasta bowl and garnish with the green onions and additional blue cheese.
- Serve while warm.
