Simple Spicy Queso
- 1 whole Medium Onion
- 1 package (1 Lb. Package) Spicy Breakfast Sausage
- 1 can (10.75 Oz. Can) Cream Of Mushroom Soup
- 1 can (10 Oz. Can) Hot Rotel
- 1 can (10 Oz. Can) Medium Rotel
- 1 block (16 Oz. Block) Velveeta
- Chop the onion (I chop mine very finely, but it is a matter of preference).
- Toss the onion and the spicy breakfast sausage in a skillet and cook on medium heat.
- Break the meat up into small pieces and continue cooking until the meat is browned.
- Drain the grease from the meat mixture.
- Cube the Velveeta.
- There are two cooking options from here.
- You can:
- (a) Combine the sausage mixture, cheese, and all the remaining ingredients in a microwave safe bowl.
- Microwave in two-minute intervals, stirring well in between.
- (Cook it for more than two minutes at a time without stirring, and it will burn.)
- (b) Combine the sausage mixture, cheese, and all the remaining ingredients in a slow cooker on low.
- You must stir very often, or once again the cheese will burn.
