Turkey Almond Supreme
- 4 c. diced cooked turkey
- 2 Tbsp. butter
- 1 1/2 c. chopped celery
- 2 Tbsp. soy sauce
- 2 oz. chopped pimento
- 10 oz. cream of mushroom soup
- 8 oz. noodles
- 1/2 c. chopped onion
- 1/4 c. chopped green pepper
- 1/4 c. water
- 1 c. dairy sour cream
- 1/2 c. sliced almonds
- You can use leftover turkey or roast a 2 pound turkey roast; cut turkey into bite size pieces.
- Cook together butter, onion, celery and green pepper for 5 minutes.
- Stir in turkey, soy sauce, water, pimento and mushroom soup.
- Cook noodles and drain, stir sour cream into noodles and combine with the turkey mixture.
- Put in a 3-quart casserole.
- Sprinkle the almonds over all.
- Bake at 350u0b0 for about an hour.
- Makes 8 generous servings.
