Herb Marinated Lamb Recipe

  1. Slash fat edges of lamb steaks in several places to keep steaks flat while broiling.
  2. To marinate, place steaks in plastic bag; set in deep bowl.
  3. Combine oil, onion, vinegar, wine, garlic, salt, rosemary, thyme and pepper.
  4. Pour herb mix over steaks; close bag Marinate in refrigerator for 6 hrs, turning occasionally.
  5. Place steaks on an unheated rack in broiler pan, reserving 3 Tbsp.
  6. of marinade.
  7. Broil 3 inches from heat for 5-7 min.
  8. Turn and continue to broil for 5-7 min more to desired doneness.
  9. Combine mint jelly and marinade; serve hot with lamb steaks.
  10. Makes 4 servings.
