Sunrise Breakfast Casserole
- 2 packages (12oz) sausage links
- 9 eggs
- 3 cup millk
- 1 1/2 tsp ground mustard
- 1 tsp salt
- 1/2 tsp pepper
- 1 packages (30oz) frozen shredded hash browns, thawed
- 2 cup (8oz) shredded 4 blend cheese
- 1/2 cup diced red bell pepper
- 1/3 cup thinly sliced green onion
- 1 salsa or picante sauce, optional
- Cook sausage until browned and cooked through, let cool and cut into rounds
- In large bowl, whisk eggs, milk and seasonings.
- Add sausage, hash browns, cheese, bell pepper and onions, mix well.
- Pour into greased 9x13 baking dish.
- Cover and refrigerate over night.
- Remove from refrigerator 30 minutes before bakiing.
- Bake, uncovered at 350 for 65-70 minutes or until a knife inserted in the center comes out clean.
- Let stand 10 minutes before serving.
- Serve with salsa or picante sauce.
