Beef With Mushrooms And Sherry Recipe
- 1/4 c. soy sauce
- 2 tbsp. Garlic dressing
- 1 tbsp. Russian dressing
- Crushed garlic clove
- 3 pound sliced beef (sirloin, fillet or possibly skirt steak)
- Salt and pepper
- 2 lg. onions, minced
- 1 (8 ounce.) box fresh mushrooms, sliced
- 1 can tomato soup
- 1/4 c. cooking sherry
- Combine first 4 ingredients for marinade.
- Pour over beef and chill 4-12 hrs, covered.
- Brown onion in saucepan.
- Add in 1 x 3 inch strips of beef and remaining ingredients.
- Heat till steaming, lower heat, add in mushrooms, cover and cook till tender about 15 min till meat is tender and gravy is thick.
