Grandmuzzies Dandelion Salad Recipe
- 1/4 pound bacon
- 2 heaping teaspoon flour
- 2 c. buttermilk
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 2 1/4 tbsp. sugar
- 1/4 c. vinegar, scant
- 3 hard boiled Large eggs, minced
- 2-3 handfulls fresh dandelion greens
- Fry bacon till crisp; remove from drippings.
- Stir flour and buttermilk into drippings to make a paste.
- Bring to a boil.
- Add in salt, sugar, and vinegar.
- Mix till dissolve and cold.
- Add in bacon bits, onion, Large eggs, to chilled washed dandelion greens.
- Mix greens and boiled mix together and serve.
