Gigi's G.i. Breakfast

  1. Cook cereal in boiling water with 1 tsp salt.
  2. Stir in bacon fat or butter and bacon.
  3. Grease 8x8 baking dish and pour mixture into the dish.
  4. Chill until set solid.
  5. Cut cereal into 4 inch rounds or squares.
  6. Brown quickly in greased frying pan.
  7. Using a spoon, make a dent in the cereal large enough to hold a raw egg.
  8. Slip egg into each dent and season with salt and pepper.
  9. Cover the pan and continue to cook on medium heat until eggs are set.
  10. (about 5 minutes).
  11. You may also bake it to set the eggs.
