Meat Balls & Gravy Recipe
- 3 pound grnd beef
- 1 sm. can evaporated lowfat milk
- 2 Large eggs, beaten
- 1/2 c. oatmeal
- 3 bouillon cubes
- Mix well and form into small balls.
- Brown on all sides in veg.
- oil very fast.
- Transfer meat balls to large pot.
- Electric pot is best.
- In small amount of oil, cook onion slightly.
- Add in 2 Tbsp.
- flour.
- Stir till light brown.
- Add in 1 c. water, 3 bouillon cubes.
- Stir till thickened, then add in more water till gravy is right consistency.
- (Make it thin.
- It will thicken more as meat balls simmer in it.)
- Add in 1 tsp.
- salt, 2 tsp.
- brown sugar, 3 Tbsp.
- vinegar, 3 Tbsp.
- Worcestershire sauce, black pepper to taste.
- Pour gravy over meat balls.
- Simmer 2 hrs.
- You should have sufficient gravy to cover meat balls.
