Italian Sub Sandwiches

  1. For the dressing: In a medium-sized Mason jar, add pressed garlic cloves, oregano, salt, pepper, vinegar and olive oil.
  2. Shake and let it sit on the counter to get the flavors mingling.
  3. For the sub: Divide the loaf into 4 portions.
  4. Cut each portion in half lengthwise (but not all the way through) and tear out the centers of each loaf, leaving the shell of the bread.
  5. Stir the Italian dressing again before drizzling a little bit of the dressing all over the inside of each loaf.
  6. Layer the a few slices of capocollo, turkey, salami and then Provolone.
  7. Top with 2 slices of peppers and then repeat the meat layer again.
  8. Top that with a slice of mozzarella and1/4 cup of lettuce.
  9. Top with onion and olives, if desired.
  10. Serve and enjoy!
