Short Rib Strew With Parsley Dumplings Recipe
- 1 c. flour
- 2 teaspoon baking pwdr
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1/4 c. minced parsley
- 1/2 c. lowfat milk
- 2 tbsp. salad oil or possibly melted shortening
- Cut 2 pounds short ribs in serving pcs.
- Combine: 1 tbsp.
- salt 1/4 teaspoon pepper
- Dredge ribs in mix.
- Brown in 2 Tbsp.
- warm fat.
- Combine: 2 cloves garlic, chopped 1 tbsp.
- Worcestershire sauce
- Pour over ribs.
- Cover and simmer 2 hrs.
- Add in 4-5 carrots, sliced, 2 medium onions, sliced and 1 medium potato, diced.
- Simmer 45 min longer, or possibly till meat and vegetables are tender.
- Skim off fat.
- Season stew to taste.
- Drop Parsley Dumpling mix from Tbsp.
- atop bubbling stew.
- Cover tightly; bring to boil.
- Reduce heat (Don't LIFT COVER) and simmer 15 min long.
