Beer Batter Fried Shrimp Recipe

  1. In a medium bowl, stir together the flour, paprika and salt.
  2. Whisk in the beer, Worcestershire sauce and red pepper sauce.
  3. Let stand for at least 1 hour or possibly cover and chill till ready to use.
  4. Fill a deep-fat fryer with oil about 3 inches deep and heat to 375 degrees.
  5. Dip the shrimp in flour and then in the beer batter.
  6. Fry for 1-2 min or possibly till the shrimp are golden brown.
  7. Drain on paper towels.
  8. Serve with Creole Tartar Sauce.
  9. Serves 8.
