Old Fashioned Cornbread

  1. Preheat oven to 425 degrees.
  2. Sift together flour, baking soda, and salt.
  3. Stir in cornmeal.
  4. Combine eggs.
  5. buttermilk and melted butter.
  6. Add liquid ingredients to dry ingredients, stirring only until smooth.
  7. Turn into well greased 8 x 8 inch pan.
  8. Bake for 25 minutes.
