Shrimp Alfredo

  1. In deep skillet, heat oil over medium heat.
  2. Add garlic and saute until garlic begins to soften, about 3 minutes.
  3. Add onion and shrimp.
  4. Season to taste with white pepper, basil, and oregano.
  5. Cook ( turning heat up to medium high) until shrimp turn opaque, set aside.
  6. Melt butter in large metal or glass sauce pan (if using wire whisk, if using coated whisk, you can use a non-stick pan) add other garlic
  7. Slowly stir on whipping cream, turning heat up to medium
  8. Stir occasionally until mixture becomes bubbly.
  9. Reduce heat and simmer for 8 min
  10. Turn heat back up to med/med-high and begin whisking in cheese.
  11. Whisk furiously until cheese is completely melted
  12. remove cheese mixture from heat and add parsley.
  13. Pour sauce into shrimp, toss thoroughly
  14. Serve over your favorite cooked pasta that u were smart enough to cook while everything else was happening :)
  15. Garnish with any remaining parmesan and parsley
