Tinklee's Turkey Vegtable Tray

  1. prep all veggies,
  2. wash off the yellow squash, carrots, red leaf lettuce and cherry tomatoes and set aside
  3. peel, then slice cucumber into slices
  4. for red, yellow, green bell pepper, cut into ringlets, deseed, cut ringlets in half
  5. cut the celery stalk in half length wise, then cut into 3" lenths
  6. asparagus, blanch in hot water then dip into cold,
  7. to assemble
  8. lay your lettuce out 90% of the way around plate,
  9. lay celery all the way around 90% again, you do two rows, leave a couple ibches of leaf showing
  10. now the carrot layer, same thing, starting a lil down from the top of the celery,
  11. place the asparagus on top of the carrots randomly around
  12. add the red bell pepper in a half circle
  13. pile the cherry tomatoes, keep them from touching the red bell pepper, you don't want them that far back
  14. add yellow bell pepper same as red, but more thick in the middle, because you are covering part of the tomatoes
  15. add the green pepper leaving just a row of tomatoes showing
  16. cut olive in half, with toothpick place on squash for eyes, a triangle piece of the inner part of a carrot for his nose,use part of a red pepper and attach lower, your face is done, place the yellow squash in place
  17. add the cucumbers to complete the turkey body
  18. take end of celery stick make 3 cuts to make the turkey foot make 2 of these and add, now enjoy the raves!
