Homemade Macaroni and Cheese
- 16 oz Elbow noodles
- 6 cup Shredded cheese (i used sharp)
- 3 1/2 cup Milk
- 1/4 cup All-purpose floor
- 1/4 cup Butter
- 1 tsp Salt
- 1/2 tsp Pepper
- 3/4 tsp Ground mustard
- 4 dash Hot pepper sauce (i used Red Rooster, Louisiana hot sauce)
- Cook macaroni in boiling water until almost tender; drain.
- Pre heat over at 350
- Melt butter.
- Stir in the flour, salt, mustard, pepper, pepper sauce and milk until smooth.
- Stir in the macaroni and 4 1/2 cups cheese.
- Transfer to an ungreased 13-in x 9-in baking dish.
- Cover and bake for 45-50 minutes or until bubbly.
- Uncover; sprinkle with the remaining cheese.
- Let stand for 5 minutes before serving.
