World Famous Meatballs
- 1- 1/4 cup Panko Bread Crumbs
- 1/2 packages (about 1 Oz. Packet) Good Seasons Italian Dressing Mix
- 1 pound Lean Ground Beef, 90/10
- 1 pound Lean Ground Pork (90/10)
- 1 whole Egg, Beaten
- 1 cup Freshly Grated Parmesan Cheese
- 13 cups Parsley, Chopped
- 1 whole Small Onion, Chopped
- 18 teaspoons Nutmeg
- 2 teaspoons Italian Seasoning
- 1 Tablespoon Minced Garlic
- 2 teaspoons Salt
- 1/2 teaspoons Pepper
- 2 jars (24 Oz. Size) Your Favorite Marinara Sauce
- 1 pound Cooked Spaghetti, For Serving
- In a small bowl, mix breadcrumbs with dressing mix.
- Crumble beef and pork into very large bowl (you want room to work here).
- Add seasoned breadcrumbs, beaten egg, cheese, parsley, onion, nutmeg, Italian seasoning, garlic, salt and pepper together with your hands until well-incorporated.
- Form into twenty meatballs and place in a slow cooker.
- Cover completely with sauce and cook on LOW for 68 hours.
- (I cook mine for 8 hours.
- This will produce fall-apart-at-the-touch meatballs, so be careful you dont create a Bolognese sauce by mistake!)
- Serve with spaghetti.
