Overcooked Brussels Sprouts Recipe
- Overcooked Brussels sprouts
- 1 tablespoon oil
- 1 tablespoon vinegar (balsamic vinegar is especially nice)
- 1 tablespoon brown (or white) sugar
- 1 tablespoon soy sauce (or 1/4 teaspoon salt)
- 1/2 cup soft bread crumbs
- 1/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese
- Drain the overcooked little devils as gently and thoroughly as possible.
- Meanwhile, combine the oil, vinegar, sugar, and soy sauce in a small saucepan and bring to a boil.
- Sprinkle half of the bread crumbs in the bottom of a baking dish.
- Spread the sprouts over the crumbs.
- Pour the sauce on them, and then cover with a flurry of the remaining crumbs and the Parmesan cheese.
- You should warm this in the oven at 350F, but since its already overcooked, dont wait too long.
