Mozzarella Meatball Sub

  1. Cook meatballs according to package directions.
  2. I used frozen and heated them on the stovetop over medium heat for 25 minutes, covered in spaghetti sauce.
  3. Slice bread horizontally, being careful not to go all they way through.
  4. Open up the loaf so that both cut sides are exposed, then spread the cut sides with butter.
  5. Sprinkle with garlic powder to taste.
  6. Slice fresh mozzarella with a serrated knife.
  7. When meatballs are done, add sauce covered meatballs to your bread, stuffing the bottom side all the way to the back.
  8. (They wont all fit.)
  9. Cover the meatballs with sliced mozzarella, close the sandwich and wrap it in foil.
  10. Bake at 350 F for 20 minutes to get the cheese nice and melty.
  11. When done, remove the foil.
  12. Slice and serve hot!
