Old Fashioned Chocolate Pie

  1. Preheat oven to 350u0b0.
  2. In large saucepan, mix together sugar, cocoa, and flour.
  3. Add milk and cook over low heat until thick.
  4. Beat egg yolks well.
  5. Add egg yolks and butter to milk mixture and cook one minute more.
  6. Cool.
  7. Pour into baked pie shell.
  8. Beat eggs whites until stiff, adding 3 Tbsp of sugar graduaally as you beat.
  9. When stiff peaks form, gently pour on the COOLED filling.
  10. Bake in a 350u0b0 oven until meringue is light golden brown on its peaks.
  11. Enjoy.
