Rutabaga Canape
- 1 half Rutabaga
- 3 tbsp Shirasu
- 1 Italian parsley
- 1 dash Coarsely ground salt and pepper
- 1 tbsp Olive oil
- 4 Pink peppercorns (if available)
- Rutabaga is known as "Swiss turnip".
- Peel it and slice it into about 8 mm thick round slices.
- Place it in a silicone steamer or in a microwavable plastic bag, and microwave it for 1 minute 30 seconds.
- Add olive oil and the coarsely ground salt and pepper into shirasu and chopped parsley.
- MIx them well.
- Top the sliced rutabagas from Step 2 with the mixture from Step 3.
- Decorate them with the pink peppercorns.
