Slice 'n Bake Brownie Rounds

  1. Combine sugar and butter in bowl.
  2. Beat at medium speed until creamy.
  3. Add melted chocolate chips, egg and vanilla; continue beating until well mixed.
  4. Add flour, baking powder, baking soda and salt; beat at low speed until well mixed.
  5. Stir in mini chocolate chips.
  6. Divide dough in half; shape each half into 7-inch log.
  7. Wrap each in plastic food wrap; refrigerate 1-2 hours or until firm.
  8. Heat oven to 375F.
  9. Cut logs into 3/8-inch slices with sharp knife.
  10. Place 1 inch apart onto ungreased cookie sheets.
  11. Sprinkle cookies with large grain sugar, if desired.
  12. Bake 8-10 minutes or until set.
  13. Cool 1 minute on cookie sheets; remove to cooling rack.
