Banana Split Pie
- 9 whole cinnamon graham crackers, crushed to make 1/4 cup crumbs
- 14 cup sugar
- 6 tablespoons margarine, melted
- 1 (3 1/2 ounce) package vanilla or 1 (3 1/2 ounce) package banana instant pudding
- 1 cup milk
- 3 cups whipped topping, divided
- 2 medium bananas, sliced
- 12 cup chopped maraschino cherry
- 1 (8 ounce) can crushed pineapple, drained
- 2 tablespoons chocolate syrup
- To prepare crust: Preheat oven to 300 degrees.
- Butter a 9 inch pie pan.
- Combine graham crackers and sugar.
- Add margarine; mix well.
- Press into bottom and sides of prepared pie plate.
- Bake 10 minutes.
- Cool completely.
- To prepare filling: Combine pudding mix and milk.
- Beat 1 minute or until thickened.
- Beat in 2 cups whipped topping until well combined.
- Fold in bananas.
- Pour into cooled crust.
- Top with pineapples and cherries.
- Spread remaining 1 cup whipped topping over cherries and drizzle with chocolate sauce.
- Top with chopped nuts if desired.
- Chill 4-5 hours or until firm.
