Crusty Tuna and Pasta Bake

  1. MELT butter and oil in a large saucepan and saute the onion and celery for 2-3 minutes.
  2. Add the flour and cook, stirring for 1 minute.
  3. Stir in milk and bring to the boil, stirring until thickened.
  4. Add the tuna, pasta, spinach and cheese.
  5. Season with salt and pepper.

  7. POUR the mixture into a greased 26cm x 20cm casserole dish.
  8. Top with bread and scatter over extra cheese.
  9. BAKE in a moderately hot 190 degrees C oven for 20-25 minutes or until topping is golden and crunchy.
  10. Serve immediately with vegetables.
