Blackberry Kuchen
- 1 1/4 cups crushed biscuits
- 80g melted butter
- 300g frozen blackberries
- 250g tub PHILADELPHIA Spreadable Cream Cheese
- 1/2 cup sugar
- 2 eggs, lightly beaten
- 1/2 cup sour cream
- grated rind of 1 small lemon Safeway 4 ct For $5.00 thru 02/09
- 2 teaspoons vanilla
- 1/4 cup brown sugar
- Combine the crumbs and butter and press evenly into a greased and lined 26 x 16cm slab tin.
- Chill until firm.
- Scatter the berries over the prepared base.
- Whisk together the Philly*, and sugar, then add the eggs, sour cream, rind and vanilla and combine thoroughly.
- Pour over the berries and sprinkle with the brown sugar.
- Bake in a moderate oven 180C for 30-40 minutes or until the filling is set.
- Serve warm or chilled.
