Blackberry Kuchen

  1. Combine the crumbs and butter and press evenly into a greased and lined 26 x 16cm slab tin.
  2. Chill until firm.
  3. Scatter the berries over the prepared base.
  4. Whisk together the Philly*, and sugar, then add the eggs, sour cream, rind and vanilla and combine thoroughly.
  5. Pour over the berries and sprinkle with the brown sugar.
  6. Bake in a moderate oven 180C for 30-40 minutes or until the filling is set.
  7. Serve warm or chilled.
