Plum Pudding Hard Sauce Recipe

  1. Mix pudding ingredients and add in whole cranberries, mix, and place in a greased and floured baking mold.
  2. (I used a 4 c. fluted mold and it comes out beautifully.)
  3. Bake at 350 degrees for 1 hour.
  4. Test with a toothpick.
  5. Cold slightly, remove from pan.
  6. It can be warmed slightly before serving with hard sauce topping.
  7. SAUCE: Boil slowly 5 min.
  8. Add in 1 tsp.
  9. vanilla.
  10. This cake and sauce can be made very far ahead of time and reheated when served.
