Soboro (Crumbled) Tofu
- 2 blocks Tofu
- 1 tsp Japanese dashi powder
- 6 tbsp Sugar
- 1 1/2 tsp Salt
- 4 tbsp Soy sauce
- 1 tsp Mirin
- 1 tbsp Sake
- 1 tsp Sesame oil
- Push the tofu through a strainer or sieve and then mash it.
- Mix together the ingredients
- Put Step 1 into a frying pan and heat it up.
- You don't have to use oil!
- Stir fry on high heat.
- (The moisture will gradually evaporate)
- Once the moisture has evaporated, turn the heat off and add what you made in Step 2.
- Once you have added in the ingredients, stir fry again on high heat till the moisture evaporates.
- It's done.
- It's good even when chilled.
- You can also add in finely chopped carrots and burdock root, stir fry it, and it'll be delicious!
