Wonder Pickles

  1. Drain juice from pickles,discard.
  2. Rinse pickles well, and cut into 1/2 inch cubes.
  3. Place back into jar.
  4. Bring sugar, vinegar, cloves and bay leaves to a boil in med.
  5. saucepan.
  6. Pour over cubed pickles.
  7. Place lid back on.
  8. Let stand for 24 hours in the boiled liquid.
  9. Pour liquid into saucepan and bring to a boil for the second time.
  10. Pour back into jar, covering the cubed pickles.
  11. Cool, then store in refrigerator.
  12. Note: time doesn't include standing time.
