Margarita Pie

  1. Combine gelatin, 1/2 cup sugar and salt in saucepan.
  2. Beat egg substitute and lime juice and add to gelatin.
  3. Cook over medium heat 5 to 7 minutes until gelatin dissolves.
  4. Remove from heat.
  5. Stir in lime peel, tequila and liqueur.
  6. Chill in refrigerator until mixture thickens like pudding.
  7. Fold Cool Whip into tequila mixture.
  8. Chill well in pie shell.
  9. Garnish with light cool whip and lime slices.
