Hot Breakfast Cereals

  1. Hot Multigrain Cereal:
  2. In prepared slow cooker stoneware, combine cereal, salt, water and apples.
  3. Cover and cook on Low for 8 hours or overnight.
  4. Just before serving, place raisins, if using, in a microwave-safe bowl and cover with water.
  5. Microwave for 20 seconds to soften.
  6. Add to hot cereal.
  7. Stir well and serve.
  8. Hot Oatmeal:
  9. In prepared slow cooker stoneware, combine oats, salt and water.
  10. Cover and cook on Low for 8 hours or overnight.
  11. Stir well and serve.
