Blackeye Peas Fish Broth
- 12 lb black-eyed peas
- 1 (8 ounce) can corn
- 4 carrots
- 2 sweet peppers
- 15 okra
- 1 large onion
- 8 garlic cloves
- 2 teaspoons cilantro
- 2 very hot bell peppers
- 3 limes
- 3 lbs salmon, sliced
- 2 teaspoons celery
- 2 teaspoons chives
- 3 teaspoons fine thyme
- 2 tablespoons cooking margarine
- 2 tablespoons canola oil
- 4 teaspoons salt
- 5 bell peppers
- first u have to wash your black-eye and pressure cook for at least 15 minutes until soft then clean and wash the fish with lime by then you prepare your carrots, sweet peppers,okra in a bowl and set aside then get your seasoning together example; celery,chives and cilantro in a blender with garlic and 1 hot pepper and blend to a paste then season fish with salt and seasoning and set aside put a pot to hot and add oil with garlic onion and 1/2 of hot pepper and simmer for a few seconds then add the some of the blended seasoning and let simmer for less than a minute then add your black-eye peas with the water put in your carrots ,sweet peppers and okra and let boil for 3 minutes then add your fish and let cook for another 3 minutes add corn then taste salt and peppers for your perfection6.
