Megadarra - Mujadarah

  1. Slice onions and add to skillet along with olive oil.
  2. Caramelize Onions.
  3. Remove 3/4 of your onions and continue to cook remaining onions until they start to get black and crispy.
  4. Remove remainder of onions and add rice to skillet.
  5. Cook rice for 3 minutes or until it is mostly translucent.
  6. Return onions to skillet along with the remaining ingredients.
  7. Simmer on low-medium heat for 20 mins or until rice is tender and the broth is absorbed.
