Slow-Cooker Sweet and Spicy Three Bean Chili
- 2 Tbsp. olive oil
- 1 lb. ground beef King Sooper's 1 lb For $3.99 thru 02/09
- 1 can (15.5 oz.) dark red kidney beans, drained and rinsed
- 1 can (15.5 oz.) red kidney beans, drained and rinsed
- 1 can (15.5 oz.) black beans, drained and rinsed
- 2 cans (15.25 oz) corn, drained and rinsed
- 1 can (14.5 oz.) diced tomatoes
- 1 can (15 oz.) tomato sauce
- 1/2 large sweet onion, chopped (about 1 cup) Safeway 1 lb For $1.49 thru 02/09
- 1/2 green pepper, seeds removed, chopped (about 1 cup)
- 1 jalapeno pepper, seeds removed, chopped (optional)
- 1/2 cup KRAFT Spicy Honey Barbecue Sauce
- 2 Tbsp. chili powder
- 1 tsp. cumin seed
- 1/4 tsp. cayenne pepper
- season to taste
- Garnish:
- KRAFT Mexican Style Finely Shredded Four Cheese
- fresh cilantro
- red onion
- BREAKSTONE'S or KNUDSEN Sour Cream
- In a large skillet heat olive oil over medium high heat.
- Add the ground beef and cook until browned and cooked through.
- Add the ground beef and all other ingredients to slow cooker except the garnishes.
- Stir to combine and cook on high for 5-6 hours or low for 3-4 hours.
- Serve warm with your favorite garnishes like cheese, freshly chopped cilantro, chopped red onion and sour cream.
