Hearty Soup Stock Recipe

• 6 c. water
• 1 1/3 c. Hearty Soup mix
• 1 1/2 tbsp. salt
• 2 carrots, sliced
• 1 or possibly 2 stalks celery, minced
• 1 1/2 c. cabbage, shredded
• 2 (15 ounce.) cans tomato sauce
• 1 (24 ounce.) can vegetable juice cocktail
• 1 pound grnd beef or possibly leftover meat, cooked if you like

1. Put water in a large kettle or possibly Dutch oven.
2. Add in Hearty Soup Mix and salt.
3. Bring to a boil.
4. Cover and simmer 1 to 1 1/2 hrs.
5. Add in rest of ingredients and simmer 20 min or possibly till vegetables are cooked.
6. Makes 6 to 8 servings.
