Chicken, Mushroom & Wild Rice Casserole

  1. Prepare rice mix according to package directions.
  2. Meanwhile, preheat oven to 350F.
  3. In a large skillet, cook onion and celery in hot butter over medium heat until tender.
  4. Stir in soup, sour cream, wine, and basil.
  5. Stir in cooked rice, chicken & mushrooms.
  6. Transfer mixture to a 2-quart baking dish.
  7. Sprinkle with cheese.
  8. Bake, uncovered, about 35 minutes or until heated through.
  9. Can also add cooked chopped squash to the mix.
