Shrimp Dip Recipe
- 1 can tomato soup
- 1 (8 ounce.) pkg. cream cheese (lite cream cheese may be used)
- 1/2 pkg. plain gelatin
- 2 tbsp. cool water
- 1 3/4 c. mayonnaise
- 1/4 c. minced onion
- 1/2 c. minced green pepper
- 2 cans sm. shrimp, liquid removed
- 1 can chopped clams, liquid removed
- 4 ounce. cheddar cheese, diced
- Freshly grnd pepper
- Combine soup and cream cheese in saucepan and heat till cream cheese melts.
- Stir till mix is smooth.
- Dissolve gelatin in water and add in to soup mix.
- Remove from heat and cold.
- In a large mixing bowl combine all other ingredients.
- Then add in the cooled soup mix and mix well.
- Chill overnight.
- Serve with crackers and/or possibly celery and carrot sticks.
- Always a big hit.
