Big Mama La'dass Creamy Egg and Caraway Soup
- 4 tablespoons flour
- 4 tablespoons margarine
- 1 tablespoon caraway seed
- water
- 1 tablespoon vinegar (to taste)
- 4 ounces thin egg noodles
- 6 eggs
- salt and pepper
- Melt margarine and add flour.
- Mix well and brown until golden.
- Add caraway seeds and add water, mixing slowly.
- Add enough water so that you have enough liquid to cook the noodles and and it still be soupy.
- Add noodles and cook for several minutes.
- Break 6 eggs into the soup very carefully.
- Don't break yolks.
- Continue to simmer until the eggs are hard and the noodles are tender.
- Add salt and pepper to taste and add vinegar to taste.
