Papa Hoban's Sloppy Joes

  1. Heat oil in pan.
  2. Fry off beef and onions in a pan.
  3. Drain the beef and onions - return to stove.
  4. Crumble in stock cube, stir in to beef.
  5. Add tomato soup (remember condensed makes double!
  6. ); stir.
  7. Now drip in Tabasco sauce one drip at a time.
  8. tasting all the while.
  9. add until you think it is hot enough for you and your family.
  10. Season with salt and pepper.
  11. Then add a teaspoon of flour to absorb any fat that may have still come out the beef.
  12. Finally scoop into the hamburger buns, and enjoy!
  13. NB: This recipe is really good if you add about 350g of pasta into the sauce and leave out the hamburger buns.
  14. it makes a really nice hotdish.
