Rich and Tasty Tendon Sauce Made With Burnt Sugar

  1. Combine the ingredients together, and make the teaspoon of water ready too.
  2. Put the sugar in a corner of a frying pan, and turn on the heat.
  3. The sugar will start melting in about a minute.
  4. When it has melted, add the teaspoon of water.
  5. (This is basically caramel sauce.)
  6. Quickly add the ingredients, mix and it's done.
  7. Extra... a great way to drain the oil off tempura!
  8. !
  9. When a piece of tempura is done, lift it out and hold it still with about 1 cm of it still in the oil for 10 seconds.
  10. The oil is drawn back to the pan and drains straight off!
  11. There's almost no oil on the paper.
