Chocolate Banana Streusel Muffins

  1. Heat oven to 350F.
  2. Place paper baking cups into 12 muffin pan cups; set aside.
  3. Combine 1/3 cup brown sugar and 1/4 cup butter in bowl.
  4. Beat at medium speed, until creamy.
  5. Add bananas, egg and vanilla; continue beating until well mixed.
  6. Place 1 cup flour, baking soda, cinnamon and salt into another bowl.
  7. Stir flour mixture into banana mixture just until moistened.
  8. Spoon batter evenly into prepared muffin cups.
  9. Combine all streusel ingredients except chocolate chips in bowl; mix well.
  10. Stir in chocolate chips.
  11. Spoon evenly over top of muffins.
  12. Bake 18-25 minutes or until light golden brown.
  13. Let stand 5 minutes; remove muffins from pan to cooling rack.
  14. *Substitute Land O Lakes Salted Butter.
