Momma's slightly seasoned artichokes

  1. put enough water in bottom of pot to steam artichokes (about 2 hours)
  2. cut stems and thorns off artichokes
  3. place them open side up in the water
  4. mix olive oil, vegstable seasoning lemon and pepper
  5. disperse mixture evenly over artichokes
  6. steam until tender (about 2 hours or until a leaf pulls away easily
