Cheese-Flavored Okara Crackers in the Microwave

  1. Combine all ingredients except for the vegetable oil.
  2. Mix so that the water from the okara blends evenly with the other ingredients.
  3. There's no need to dry-roast the okara.
  4. Add vegetable oil and stir until smooth.
  5. Gather into one lump.
  6. Press it down with the back of a spoon, or use your hands.
  7. Cover your workplace with parchment paper and spread out the dough to about 3 mm thick.
  8. Poke in holes with a fork.
  9. Microwave for 5 minutes.
  10. Take it out when it's half-done, and chop into desired sizes.
  11. (*Leave the microwave open to expel the humidity.)
  12. (*Wipe water droplets in the microwave.)
  13. Flip it over and microwave for another 3 to 4 minutes.
  14. Set aside to cool, and they're done.
  15. Variation Add herbs or aonori seaweed if you like!
