Meatloaf For Large Families Recipe
- 2 lbs. grnd beef
- 1 c. quick Quaker oats
- 2 Large eggs
- 1 tbsp. poultry seasoning
- 1 onion or possibly 1 tbsp. onion pwdr
- 1 teaspoon garlic pwdr
- 1 tbsp. oregano
- Lowfat milk
- 1 green pepper, minced (optional)
- 1 or possibly 2 c. tomato sauce (optional)
- 1 can mushroom pcs (optional)
- Mix beef, oats, Large eggs, poultry seasoning, onion, garlic and oregano in large bowl.
- Add in small amounts of lowfat milk while mixing till moist.
- Don't add in too much lowfat milk.
- Add in any optional ingredients desired and mix well.
- Using clean hands, knead the mix thoroughly.
- Pour into meatloaf pan.
- Bake at 350 degrees for approximately 45 min.
- Before removing from oven, check for doneness by making sure sides have pulled away from the pan.
- Serves 6-8.
