Masoor Vegetable Curry

  1. Cook the dal separately with 2 teacups of water.
  2. Heat 1-1/2 tbsp.
  3. ghee, add the onion and cumin seeds and fry for at least 2 minutes.
  4. Add the cooked dal, boiled vegetables, amchur powder, tomato, turmeric powder, paste and salt, and boil for a few minutes.
  5. Just before serving, heat the remaining ghee and the chili powder and pour immediately over the dal mixture.
  6. Serve hot.
