Easy crockpot beefstew

  1. Spray crockpot with non stick spray or I use a crock pot liner for easy clean up.
  2. Put beef in crockpot.
  3. Mix the 2 packages of beefstew seasoning with 4 cups of warm water , pour over beef.
  4. Add the onion and celery.
  5. Cook on low for 6-8hours.
  6. When the beef stew meat is done..Add 2 more cups of water after cooking, then stir.
  7. Add carrots and cook for a bit, before adding potatoes.
  8. The carrots take longer.
  9. Add salt and pepper to taste.
  10. When all finished.
  11. I like my beefstew to thicken.
  12. So I add the cornstarch with water , slowly stir into beefstew and cook until desired.
  13. This is great with homemade cornbread.
