Chocolate Pecan Bourbon Pie

  1. Preheat oven to 350F (180C)
  2. On a lightly floured surface, roll out dough and fit into bottom of pie pan.
  3. Set aside.
  4. In a bowl, whisk together brown sugar, maple syrup, butter, eggs and bourbon.
  5. Sprinkle pecans and semisweet chocolate over pastry shell.
  6. Pour sugar mixture over top, making sure that you submerge pecans and chocolate pieces.
  7. Bake in preheated oven until a knife inserted into center comes out clean, 40 to 45 minutes.
  8. Let cool on a wire rack for at least 1 hour before cutting.
