Lemon Drop Cookies

  1. Heat oven to 350F.
  2. Lightly grease cookie sheets; set aside.
  3. Combine sugar and 1/2 cup butter in bowl; beat at medium speed until creamy.
  4. Add all remaining cookie ingredients except white baking chips.
  5. Beat at medium speed until smooth.
  6. Stir in white baking chips, if desired.
  7. Drop dough by rounded teaspoonfuls, 1 inch apart, onto prepared cookie sheets.
  8. Bake 7-9 minutes or until edges just begin to brown.
  9. Remove cookies to cooling rack; cool completely.
  10. Combine all frosting ingredients in bowl.
  11. Beat at medium speed until creamy.
  12. Frost cooled cookies.
  13. Decorate as desired.
