Herb-Crusted Prime Rib

  1. Preheat oven to 350F.
  2. Brush roast with steak sauce.
  3. Mix bread crumbs, rosemary and thyme; sprinkle evenly onto roast, then press gently into roast.
  4. Place, fat side up, on rack in shallow roasting pan; tent with foil.
  5. Bake 1-1/2 hours; remove foil.
  6. Bake an additional 30 minutes for medium-rare doneness (140F) or an additional 45 minutes for medium doneness (155F).
  7. Remove roast from oven; tent with foil.
  8. Let stand 15 minutes before slicing to serve.
