Georgia Sausage W/ Sweet Potatoes

  1. Boil sweet potatoes in their skins.
  2. Peel and cut into strips lengthwise and put in bottom of casserole.
  3. Brown sausage on both sides in frying pan; place over potatoes and cover with sliced apples.
  4. Mix sausage fat, hot water, brown sugar, and Worcestershire sauce; pour over all.
  5. Bake at 350* for 40 minutes.
  6. Keep covered until last 10 minutes.
